Brazilian Jiu Jitsu
All BJJ classes are taught in the gi or kimono. These classes focus on providing the students, beginner or experienced with a greater understanding of the chokes, joint locks, reversals (sweeps), takedowns, and pins that comprise BJJ. The curriculum at Jiu Jitsu Inc focuses on one move for several classes to really allow students to absorb the material they are trying to learn.

wrestling takedowns
A takedown is a martial arts and combat sports term for a technique that involves off-balancing an opponent and bringing him or her to the ground, typically with the combatant performing the takedown landing on top. The process of quickly advancing on an opponent and attempting a takedown is known as shooting for a takedown, or simply shooting. Takedowns are usually distinguished from throws by the type of motion involved, but sometimes the terms are used interchangeably for certain techniques. Takedowns are featured in all forms of wrestling and stand-up grappling.

Strength and Conditioning
The strength and conditioning classes are all taught by Celebrity Trainer Clay Burwell. Clay puts the students through the paces with exercises that range from basic (jump ropes, push ups and sit ups) to the extreme (kettlebells and Olympic lifting). The class is a great supplement to the BJJ and Submission Wrestling Classes that are offered at Jiu Jitsu Inc.

Submission Wrestling
Much like the BJJ classes the Submission Wrestling commonly called nogi focus on applying the same techniques and strategy of BJJ. The difference is that instead of a kimono or gi students will wear shorts and a t-shirt or rash guard.
